There is a difference in the allowed database character length for the operation label attribute in Windchill MPMLink and the activity (which is the SAP field name for the operation sequence number) attribute in SAP to which it is mapped. The Windchill MPMLink operation label field has no limit, whereas the SAP activity field limit is 4 characters (all characters should be numeric). If operations from Windchill MPMLink have operation labels that are greater than 4 characters, an error appears and middleware processing ends.
