Editing a Problem Report
You can edit problem reports in the following ways:
Select Edit from the row action menu of problem reports in the Issues and Variances table associated with the affected object of the problem report.
Select Edit from the row action menu of problem reports in the Issues table found from Changes > Issues.
Select Edit from the actions menu of the information page of the problem report.
If the selected objects are not available for change, either because they are checked out, shared to a project, or are not able to be changed, an error message displays.
The Edit Problem Report window divides the editing of a problem report into the following steps:
1. Set Attributes—Provides the descriptive attributes associated with the problem report.
2. Select Affected End Items—Provides the identification of the end items that are affected by the problem report. If the selected object is a part that is an end item, the part is automatically in the Affected End Items table.
3. Select Affected Objects—Identifies the affected objects that are involved with the problem report.
4. Set Attachments—Manages associated file attachments. Files in the context of the problem report can be added, updated, deleted, or viewed.
5. Select Associations—Identifies associated process and reference objects.
Steps do not necessarily need to be completed in the order in which they are listed. You may navigate to any step for which the link is enabled.
