Automatically Creating a Change Notice from a Change Request
To create a change notice automatically from a change request, use the following procedure:
1. From a Create Change Notice task on the My Tasks table on the home page, select the Automatically Create Change Notice checkbox. After you have selected the checkbox, the Type and Template fields appear.
2. Select the change notice type from the Type drop-down list. If multiple change notice types have been defined, you can select a type from the drop-down list.
3. If a valid change notice template exists, you can create a new change notice from a change notice template. From the Template drop-down menu, select the change notice template you want to use. If one or more change notice templates have been defined, you can select a template from the drop-down list.
4. When the task is completed, the change notice is automatically created.
