Export Design Data
This topic describes the Export Design Data action, available from the active workspace.
The Export Design Data action enables you to export design data stored in Windchill and save it to any location on your local machine.
To export Windchill design data:
1. Click the information icon in the design’s information page.
2. Select Actions > Export Design Data.
The Export Design Data window opens.
3. Notice in the Design field that the design you want to export (and the one from which you invoked the action) already populates the field.
4. Click the browse button next to the Target Directory field and navigate to an appropriate folder on your local machine where you want to store the data.
5. Click OK to begin the export.
