Overview of Configuration
Once the required components have been installed, you must configure them.
Configuring Components Sequence
The following table lists the recommended sequence of configuration steps. If you configure the components out of sequence and without the prerequisites, configuration may fail. For details on each step, refer to the section of documentation listed in the Where Documented column.

Before starting import from Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager to Windchill post upgrade, the user must perform the following steps to ensure that import is successful from Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager to Windchill:
1. In Policy Administrator at System (Site level), Read permission needs to be added for the Type "DPImplSchedule" and principal "Gateway Publisher"
2. In Policy Administrator at System (Site level), Read permission needs to be added for Type "DPImplJob" and principal "Gateway Publisher"
3. A new group "Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager" must be created
4. The Default Import User must be added to the group "Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager”(Site level)

This configuration is required only for upgrade from a Windchill 9.1 stream source server, and is not required from Windchill 10.0 stream onward.
