• ORA-01461 can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column
• [DataDirect][ODBC Oracle driver]String data, right truncated. Error in parameter
This could happen if you have attempted to map a field which has a longer field length in Windchill PDMLink than is allowed in Oracle Applications. The most likely fields having this issue are CN number and Reference Designator.
Windchill PDMLink should be modified or business processes should be in place to prevent CN Numbers or Reference Designators over 10 characters in length. Refer to the Windchill Enterprise Systems Integration Installation and Configuration Guide - Oracle Applications for further details on managing field length differences between systems.
