SQL Server 資料庫支援下列更新：
• SQL Server 2012 與 2014 都允許資料庫實例使用與資料庫主物件不同的定序。
• 某些資料庫欄已變更資料類型，以與 SQL Server 支援及建議匹配：
◦ Windchill BLOB 與 InlineBLOB 資料庫欄現在使用 varbinary(max) 資料類型，代替由 SQL Server 取代的 image 資料類型。
◦ 遵循 SQL Server 建議，Windchill「日期」、「時間」與「時間戳記」資料庫欄現在使用 datetime2 資料類型，而非 datetime。
• 現在，SQL Server 2014 受支援，且隨附於 Windchill PDM Essentials。
• SQL Server 2008 R2 不再受支援。
