Configuring Information Exchange Settings
Use this screen to determine if the installed system will automatically engage in information exchange with PTC. For details about automatically sending system information to PTC, see Performance Advisor for PTC Windchill.
If you choose to send notification and exchange information with PTC you must enter the following information for communication purposes:
Company Name: Enter the name of your company.
Email address for Information Exchange, PTC HTTP Server, and System Notifications: Enter the email address of your Windchill system administrator who will read system notifications or correspond with PTC for information exchange.
Configure to send and receive system and diagnostic information: Select this checkbox if you want to exchange information with PTC. The checkbox is selected by default. When the checkbox is clear, the Service Contract Number (SCN) field becomes unavailable.
Service Contract Number (SCN): A service contract number is required for technical support.

Click inside the Service Contract Number (SCN) field to enter in and validate your service contract. You are then prompted to enter in a valid service contract, as well as username and password for notification purposes. If your login credentials are correct but the SCN entered is incorrect, a pop-up message listing the valid SCNs for your account appears. Choose the correct SCN from the list and enter it in the Service Contract Number (SCN) field.
