Windchill Aerospace and Defense
Windchill Aerospace and Defense is an add-on module for Windchill PDMLink designed to address the data management requirements of industries with large and complex product structures like the Aerospace and Defense industry.
The Windchill Aerospace and Defense Module (WADM) has two installation options:
• CDRL/SDRL, CAGE Code, Hanging Change—This option installs enhanced package capabilities using Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Subcontract Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs), the ability to specify CAGE codes for objects, and unincorporated changes (hanging changes).

• Configuration Items and Design Solutions—This option installs the Windchill Aerospace and Defense configuration management features that include capabilities designed to support large and complex product designs.

After installing Windchill Aerospace and Defense with the Configuration Items and Design Solutions option, you must create a part (usually an end item) to be the context for the effectivity and configure effectivity properties before using the configuration management features.
