Benefit
Creo Elements/Direct Modeling users now receive notifications for relevant status changes of models, which are loaded in the CAD session; for example, a new version checked in by another user triggers a notification.
Additional Details
Notifications are received as pop-up messages also shown in the Windchill Workgroup Manager client message area. Out-of-date information is reflected in the Status column of the Modeling Structure Browser in Windchill view. With the new ‘Out of Date’ filter, you can easily locate those models that need an update.
Notifications are triggered periodically after a workspace refresh with respect to server information (commonspace). For an immediate status check:
• To refresh an individual object or model:
1. Select a specific object in the Modeling Structure Browser.
2. Right-click the selected object and click > .
• To refresh all models in the session, click > > .
