Windchill Service Information Manager has been updated to support new capabilities and customization to enhance your user experience.
Additional Details
The enhancements to the user interface are as follows:
• Following four license profiles have been added for Windchill Service Information Manager in this release:
◦ PTC Service Information Manager License
◦ PTC Service Information Manager Standard License
◦ PTC Service Information Manager Reviewer License
◦ PTC Service Parts License
• All Information Structure Checkouts—This option has been added under Checkouts on the Check Out/In action set on the Structure tab of a publication structure. As checkouts in the information structure can prevent regeneration of the publication structure, you can use this option to manage the checked-out objects.
• A customization hook has been created to allow you to create your own business logic to decide which nodes should be removed, reused, or copied when generating or regenerating a service structure. The service can be extended by a custom implementation to override the OOTB business logic.
• The user interface label for the Save As/Add To action set has been modified to New/Add To on the information structure and publication structure pages.
• A Description attribute has been added to the Visualization and Attributes section under the Details tab of a dynamic document information page.
