A new reference link is available that relates a model item created by a dynamic document to a Windchill part.

The link enables one dynamic document to link to multiple Windchill parts and is preserved when standard business processes are executed such as check in, check out, revise, and purge. A model item is created for each Windchill part that is referenced or crossreferenced inside the dynamic document. The Windchill part is not iterated when a link to a dynamic document is added or removed. This new link enables a dynamic document to maintain a general reference to a Windchill part. The new reference link is fully supported when using Windchill Import and Export.
