• An information page tab created on a type is automatically available on all subtypes of that type. The Hide on Subtype action can be used to make the tab available only on the type where it was created.

• Before 11.0, customized information page tabs created in a previous release of Windchill were not editable in some cases after Windchill was upgraded to a new release. Now, information page tabs can be edited from any type or subtype on which the tab appears, regardless of the release in which the tab was originally created. Modifying a tab in any way modifies that tab on information pages for all subtypes and all parent types which share the tab.
