A consistent approach for validating access authorization to Windchill URLs is applied to utility pages out of the box and can be extended to other Windchill pages through a custom validator.

A new process has been implemented that allows URL access control to be enforced in a consistent manner. For those Windchill pages where this validation process is implemented, unauthorized attempts to view a page are now handled uniformly by presenting a consistent error page. This process is implemented on Windchill utility pages out of the box. Administrators can create custom validators to extend this process to JCA- and template processor-based pages that they specify.
