Benefit
Users can now edit existing promotion requests.
Additional Details
The Edit action has been added to promotion requests:
Users with appropriate permission can edit the following promotion request attributes:
• Name
• Description
• Need By
• Under the Select Promotion Objects step, you can add or remove promotion objects.
The following attributes cannot be edited on an existing promotion request:
• Type
• Location
• Apply default collection
• Target Promotion State
• The Select Participants step does not appear. You cannot edit which workflow process the promotion request is associated with or change the participants.
| Administrators should note the following: • There is no change to the out-of-the-box promotion request workflows. • You can incorporate this action into life cycles that include Rework states as well as Rework loops in custom workflows. • The Edit action is available from the Action on Subject menu when creating a task form template for promotion requests. • A corresponding layout is also available from the Type and Attribute Management utility. |
