Multiple enhancements have been made to attribute administration, including graphical attributes, setting default values, a new constraint, and additional examples.
Additional Details
Enhancements to attribute administration include:
• Graphical attributes are now enabled out-of-the-box, and are available in additional areas of the product, including the Structure tab of part and document information pages.
• New attribute constraint rule: No Duplicate Values.When set to true on attributes with multiple values, all values must be unique.
• Default values for derived attributes can now be set only on the source type. Previously, a default value could be defined on the derived attribute, but it had no effect in the system. A message now displays on the Default Values tab of derived attributes directing you to the source type.
• Detailed examples have been provided for moving attribute definitions higher and lower within a given type hierarchy (from a subtype to a parent type, or from a parent type to a subtype).
