Manually Configuring the FPLM Adapter for Windchill 10.1
To manually configure the FPLM Adapter for Windchill 10.1, perform the following steps:
1. Go to the FPLMServer installation directory and save the backup of the dpat directory.
2. Delete all the files/folders present inside the dpat directory.
3. Extract AdapterToolkit.jar from the WT_HOME\srclib\dpinfra folder into the dpat directory.
4. On the Windchill side, run the command: ant -f PackageAdapter.xml package_files. This will generate a jar file named InfoEngine.jar in the WT_HOME/temp/ie_adapter_install folder.)
5. Extract the contents of the jar file created in step 4 into the dpat directory.
6. Copy the config.properties, configuration.properties, ie.properties, and log4j.properties files from the backup folder to the dpat directory.
7. Reopen the dpat directory.
8. Copy all the .xml files whose names begin with foran from the backup task folder to the task folder.
9. Copy adapter-plugin.xml from the backup xml folder and paste it into the xml folder.
10. Make sure the public key is in place.
11. Copy DPAToolkit.jar from the \dpat\lib directory to the \FPLMServer\Jfplmserver\lib directory.
12. For FBA-enabled servers, suffix the term protocolAuth to the URL in the plmconfig.xml file as shown in the example below.

Viewing a Process
To view a process that has been already defined:
1. Select > > . The system displays the Process List.
The
Search in table Icon
above the columns allows you to search for text within the file names.
The
Table display options icon
on the top right corner gives you the option to
View selected objects only when the check boxes next to the processes are enabled. If no processes are selected, all processes are displayed.
2. Click on a process's information icon
to view that process's details.
The details of a process are read only. The Details tab window lists attributes such as Name, Description, Last Modified, Created On, and the Process Template. The Operation Details tab window lists provides such data as the Operation name, Adapter,Task URI, and Input.
3. Select Close to close the window.
4. You can also customize your display to add schedules and jobs associated to a process.
a. Create a
New Tab by clicking the
button.
b. From the Customize drop-down list, select Related Objects. By selecting Jobs, Schedules, or both, you can add the Jobs List and/or the Schedules List associated with the process to the New Tab you just created.
