Verifying the Windchill Gateway Configuration on Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager
After installing Windchill Gateway on Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager, it is recommended that you verify that the Gateway Service is running properly.
To verify the Windchill Gateway configuration:
1. On the Model Manager Server, check the following:
a. Start the Task Manager and verify that the following service is running.
CreoGatewayService
b. In the file <Manager Server Installation>\logs\GatewayService.log, verify the existence of the following entry:
DP Adapter successfully started
2. On the MOM server, check that both Windchill and Model Manager Server are registered as consumers.
a. Run (for Windows) <MessageOrientedMiddleware_HOME>\mq\bin\run\imqadmin.exe
b. Connect to the GatewayBroker.
c. View the properties of GatewayQ.
It should have two Active Consumers as shown in the following figure.
3. On Windchill PDMLink, check that the Model Manager Adapter has been registered successfully.
a. The Method Server log should have the following entry:
Successfully registered adapter:CCMMAdapter_<manager server>_7654
b. The Model Manager Adapter should be available in the list of Adapters in the CreateProcess page.
