Diagnosing a Stalled Job
This function helps you diagnose the status of a long running job that has not yet completed.
1. From the
Jobs List page, click the Information icon
of the job you want to diagnose. From the
menu, select
Diagnose.
2. The diagnosis of the running job appears in a temporary message at the top of the screen. Hover over the message (or hold down the Ctrl key) to keep it visible, and make a note of the message contents to determine the execution step (message-oriented middleware, the adapter, or Windchill). This will tell the system where to start looking. If the job has failed, it will appear as such on the event console.
