Deleting a Part Instance
A part instance can be deleted if the following criteria are met:
• It has not been incorporated.
• It has not been allocated into a higher-level part instance.
• You have delete permission.
Use the following procedure to delete a part instance:
1. Select Delete from the Actions drop-down menu on the part instance information page.
2. Click OK on the confirmation message window.
The information page for the part configuration used to create the deleted part instance is displayed when the delete operation is completed.
