License usage data for Windchill can be viewed in the Performance Advisor for PTC Windchill or a report generated by the System Configuration Collector. For each user that logs in, the system stores the date, user ID, and licenses used by the user during the daily reporting period.

The Performance Advisor for PTC Windchill includes license usage in the data it reports to PTC. In some cases, customers may have opted out of the Performance Advisor for PTC Windchill if they are restricted from sending data to PTC. Alternatively, license usage data can be accessed with the System Configuration Collector plugin License Usage Report, which generates an HTML report. Customers can choose whether System Configuration Collector data is sent to PTC or is generated only for internal use.
