The Preference Management utility contains EPM Service Preferences. The table below lists some of the preferences under the Build Service Preferences subcategory. In addition, the preference, Send a CAD document / Dynamic Document to PDM without optional dependents, is listed separately and is described in the following table:

Send a CAD document / Dynamic Document to PDM without optional dependents	• Site • Organization • Library	• Yes • No (default)	Determines whether to allow a CAD document or dynamic document to be sent to PDM without new optional dependents. If allowed, links to optional dependents are removed.

Build Service Preferences

The following table lists preferences for the build service:

Attributes Delimiter	• User • Site • Product • Organization • Library	• , (default) • <character value>	Identifies the delimiter character that separates the attributes specified in the preferences like Attributes to be published on Part, Attributes to be published on Link, etc.
Attributes to be published on Link	• User • Site • Product • Organization • Library	• All Attributes: Use the * character to configure the system to publish all global, soft-type attributes. • Regular Expression: Provide a match for the regular expression that will include global, soft-type attributes based on their internal name. Regular expressions to be prefixed with the string, "regex:". • Delimited List: Provide the internal attribute names of the global, soft-type attributes delimited by character specified in preference Attributes Delimiter. The default value is to not publish any attributes.	Identifies attributes to be published on the member link.
Attributes to be published on Master	• User • Site • Product • Organization • Library	• All Attributes: Use the * character to configure the system to publish all global, soft-type attributes. • Regular Expression: Provide a match for the regular expression that will include global, soft-type attributes based on their internal name. Regular expressions to be prefixed with the string, "regex:". • Delimited List: Provide the internal attribute names of the global, soft-type attributes delimited by character specified in preference Attributes Delimiter. The default value is to publish all attributes or *.	Identifies attributes to be published on the master.

Regular expressions to be prefixed with the string, "regex:". • Delimited List: Provide the internal attribute names of the global, soft-type attributes delimited by character specified in preference Attributes Delimiter. The default value is to not publish any attributes.	Attributes to be published on a part by the Contributing Content relationship. Attributes are delimited by a character specified in the preference, Attributes Delimiter.
Contributing Image Attributes	• User • Site • Product • Organization • Library	• All Attributes: Use the * character to configure the system to publish all global, soft-type attributes. • Regular Expression: Provide a match for the regular expression that will include global, soft-type attributes based on their internal name. Regular expressions to be prefixed with the string, "regex:". • Delimited List: Provide the internal attribute names of the global, soft-type attributes delimited by character specified in preference Attributes Delimiter. The default value is to not publish any attributes.	Attributes to be published on a part by contributing image relationship. Attributes are delimited by a character specified in the preference Attributes Delimiter.
