The image below illustrates the process of converting objects from replicated data to local data.
*
The Copy delivery information checkbox in the Revise dialog box is not functional for Object Collector or Context Collector packages. Even if selected, the delivery information is not carried over to the new package revision.
Users assigned the Package Approver role must be members of both the Replication Package Administrators group and the Replication Authority group to access the contents and summary reports generated for a Context Collector package.
The reports generated for the example are listed below:
Summary_Dependency_Chain.csv
This report displays a hierarchical chain of objects that are dependent on the objects selected and collected for disowning by replication. Only those objects configured to be collected as dependents are included in the report.
For additional details, refer to Dependent Objects Included in Replication Disowning.
Report Structure::
The first column shows the identity of the initially selected object.
The second column lists the identity of its direct dependent.
The third column displays the object dependent on the one in the second column.
This pattern continues across subsequent columns, forming a chain of dependencies.
Each row in the report represents a complete dependency path, showing the relationship between the selected object and its dependent objects.
Summary_Objects_ToBe_Disowned.csv
Lists objects that qualify for conversion from replicated data to local data. The report includes each object's identity and the context path indicating where it resides.
Summary_ToBe_Disowned_Links.csv
Lists the links that are eligible for conversion from replicated data to local data. The report includes the identity of the selected object, the link itself, the Role A and Role B objects associated with the link, and the dependent object.
In this report, the listed links associated with the collected objects are identified as eligible for disowning by replication.
Summary_ExcludedObjects.csv
Lists objects that are not eligible for the disowning by replication process. This includes objects that are already local, which are also shown in the report. The report provides the identity of each object along with the context path indicating its location.
Managed baselines appear in the report as they are not supported for disowning by replication.
*
If the object in the Package Content is replicated and there are no non-eligible objects such as local objects present, the system will display a blank report.
