Table and Table View Overview (Next Gen UI)
Tables in the Windchill Next Gen UI provide improved experience and new options for configuring columns, saving, deleting, or customizing views, filtering objects, and performing other actions.
• To save, delete, or customize views, select the option from the View list, located to the left on the table toolbar:
◦ Save—Saves the current view.
◦ Save As—Saves the current view as a new view.
◦ Delete—Deletes the current view.

The action is available only for the view created by a user or to a user having access to that view.

◦ Manage Views—Customizes a view.
• To filter the objects displayed in a table, enter your search criteria in the Find box located to the right on the table toolbar.

As you start entering one or more characters from in the search box, the objects containing one or more of the characters that you have entered are instantaneously filtered and displayed in the table.

• The total number of objects listed in the table is shown in the lower-right corner of the table. The number of objects selected by you is shown in the lower-left corner of the table.
For large data sets, the number of objects that are initially displayed in a table or tree depends on the maximum number of rows that you have set in the > preference available in the Preference Management utility in Windchill. Click LOAD MORE ITEMS to load the next set of objects below the currently displayed objects.
• To open the information page for an object in the table, click

View Information. Alternatively, you can use the right-click Actions menu to view information about the object or modify the object.
• To view the contextual actions available in the table, click

and select the action that you want to perform from the menu.
