Assigning Engineering Materials to Parts
You can assign an engineering material to a part using the Customize > Related Objects > Engineering Material.
1. Select the part to which you want to assign the engineering material. The part will be automatically checked out to you for editing.
2. From the New Tab customize the engineering material table using Customize > Related Objects > Engineering Material.
3. Click Add Engineering Material Assignment to find an existing engineering material to relate to this part. Search for the engineering material by Name, Number or Context.
4. From the search results, click to select the engineering materials to assign to the part. You can view all the assigned engineering materials in the Engineering Materials table.
