Usage and Reference Link Conflicts During Partial CAD Object Overwrites
In the target system, the subassembly CAD SUB1.ASM A.1 and its components CADP1 A.1 and CADP2 A.1 are marked for replication. However, CADP3 A.1 is not marked for replication.

CADP3 A.1
Although CADP3 A.1 exists on both systems, it is not marked for replication on the target system. This discrepancy causes a non-overridable conflict during import, resulting in the failure of the entire package.
To resolve this, re-import the package and choose to skip CADP3 A.1 on the target system. This allows the import to succeed, and CAD SUB1.ASM A.1, CADP1 A.1, and CADP2 A.1 are successfully overwritten.
After import, remove all existing links between CAD SUB1.ASM A.1, CADP1 A.1, CADP2 A.1, and CADP3 A.1 on the target system. Then, re-import the package to recreate links only between CAD SUB1.ASM A.1, CADP1 A.1, and CADP2 A.1.
Even though CADP3 A.1 is no longer part of the structure, CAD SUB1.ASM A.1 may still reference it internally, as it continues to recognize CADP3 A.1 as a component.

Skipping CAD objects during import may leave usage and reference links in parent assemblies or drawings that are not reflected in PDMLink.
This can lead to inconsistencies in the CAD structure, especially in assemblies or drawings that reference skipped components.
Use the Missing Objects table on a CAD object’s Related Objects page to identify usage and reference links that were not imported.
