Creating an Offset
Use the 
Offset action in the Visualization tab of the BOM Transformer to offset the selected assembly or part. This action is available in both the upstream and downstream views.
Offset action in the Visualization tab of the BOM Transformer to offset the selected assembly or part. This action is available in both the upstream and downstream views.Perform the following steps to offset an assembly or part:
1. Open a part or an assembly in the BOM Transformer. The tree structure in upstream and downstream views and its corresponding visualization data are loaded in the BOM Transformer.
2. Select a part or an assembly in the Visualization tab or the BOM structure.
3. In the Visualization tab toolbar, click Offset.
Offset.4. The Offset dialog box opens.
5. Enter appropriate values in the Offset dialog box.
6. Click OK. The Offset dialog box closes, and the system offsets the selected assembly or part in the Visualization tab. The Offset action offsets or adjusts the selected part or assembly from its current position.
 | An offset creates a temporary effect for visual purposes. You can remove the offset by resetting the values in the Offset dialog box or by refreshing the structure. |
