Associating a Document with an Extended Data Object
To associate a document with an enterprise or plant data object, perform the following steps:
1. Select the document with which you want to associate an extended data object.
2. Customize the information page of the document to display the Extended Data tab. For more information, see Customizing Information Page Tabs.
3. On the Extended Data table, click 
Add Extended Data.
Add Extended Data.4. Search for the required objects, and click OK.
A message appears, confirming that the selected extended data objects will be checked out.
5. Click OK to confirm.
The newly associated objects are displayed in the checked-out state in the Extended Data table.
