To avoid possible performance issues resulting from an accumulation of a large number of event records in Event Management, add the following site-wide property to wt.properties: com.ptc.core.task.purgeTasksOlderThanDays= <integer>. Events older than the specified integer (number of days) are automatically purged from the Event Management.
