The Batch delete utility helps you to permanently remove object metadata and the associated content from Windchill while preserving the referential data integrity for the remaining data. It enables the complete deletion of objects, such as, Products, Projects or Libraries. The utility provides an option to check for external dependencies before deleting. You can delete assemblies with multiple iterations and revisions.

The utility provides a user-friendly interface which is installed separately using a lightweight installer on Windchill. This interface is used to create and delete configurations, which serves as input for the utility. A key feature of the Batch Delete Utility is the External Dependency report, generated in simulation mode. This report helps prevent the deletion of products, projects, and libraries that have dependencies on other objects and thus ensuring the system integrity.
