Traced To Table
The Traced To table displays trace links between an external resource and a Windchill traceable object.
To view the Traced To table, follow these steps:
1. On the information page of a Windchill traceable object, create a new tab.
2. Select Customize > Related Objects > Traces > Traced To.
The Traced To table can also be viewed on the Traces tab of the part structure browser. For more information, see Traces Tab.

The following features on JCA tables have certain limitations when handling data from remote servers:
Search in table — This feature may not consistently find remote data on a paginated table when the data set is large. You can increase the table size to resolve this issue.
Table Views — This feature does not support filtering remote objects data when using table views that include remote objects.
The Traced To table contains the following columns:
Column Name
Description
Number
A unique identifier for the traced item.
Trace
Trace type, such as Allocate, Satisfy or Implement.
Server
The server where the traced item resides.
Title
A summary of the traced item.
Last Modified — External
The date of the modification to the external resource.
Remote Data Status
The loading status of the external resource.
Object Type Indicator
The resource type of the external resource.

You can add additional columns to the Traced To table. For more information, see Adding Additional Columns to DPT Tables.
You can perform the following actions in the Traced To table:
Action
Description
Add Traces green plus sign icon
Adds new trace links.
Remove Traces red minus sign icon
Removes the trace link relationship that is selected.
Mark as Suspect red diamond icon
Marks the selected trace link as suspect.
Clear Suspect Flag red diamond icon with line across it
Clears the suspect flag for a trace, indicating that you have evaluated the change.
Copy Selected Object two overlapping pages folded at the upper right
Copies the selected trace links from the Traced To table to the clipboard.
Paste a board overlapped by a paper
Pastes the selected trace links on the Traced To table and change objects to Affected Objects table.
The following status icons appear in the Remote Data Status column of the Traced To table:
