New/Add To Action Set - Parts
The following actions are provided in the New/Add To action set in the Structure tab toolbar on a part information page:

Click the New icon to create new data from a selected object or the top part in the part structure.The following actions are available in the drop-down menu:  Save As – Select one or more parts to save as new parts. For more information, see Save Part as New Part. New Promotion Request – Create a promotion request for objects selected in the part structure. For more information, see Creating a Promotion Request. New Part Configuration – Create a part configuration for the top part in the part structure. For more information, see Creating a New Part Configuration. New Representation – Create a new graphic image of a selected part from an associated CAD document or CAD data on your workstation. For more information about creating a new part representation, see Creating a Representation from a Part Structure. New Configuration Context – Creates a configuration context from the filtered part structure displayed in the structure tab. For more information, see Create a Configuration Context. |

Clicking the Add To icon to add one or more selected objects to a baseline, package, or project.The following actions are available in the drop-down menu:  Add to Baseline – Add one or more selected parts plus collected objects to an existing baseline or a new baseline you create. For more information, see Adding Objects to a Baseline. Add to Package – Add a selected part plus collected objects to an existing package. For more information, see Adding Content to a Package. Add to Project – Add one or more selected parts plus collected objects to an existing project. For more information, see Using the Add to Project Action. Add To Workspace – Add one or more selected objects plus collected objects to an existing or a new workspace. For more information, see Adding Objects to the Workspace. |
