Creating Engineering Material Catalog
To securely manage Catalogs and share them with PLM and CAD users, it is recommended to create Catalogs in a library. Refer Creating a New Library to understand creation of libraries and configuring access to the libraries.

Catalog creation is a role-based action. You need to add the access control rules in the policy for other users to see the catalog created. For more information refer, About Access Control Policy Rules.

To create a new Catalog:
1. From the Actions menu, select > 
New Engineering Materials Catalog. Set the attributes and attachments for creating the new Catalog.
New Engineering Materials Catalog. Set the attributes and attachments for creating the new Catalog.2. Under Create Engineering Materials Catalog Layout, provide the Name, Number, and Location. Also provide the density as applicable and click OK. The new catalog is created.
