Description
With this release, the change process is enhanced to provide greater control and flexibility in managing change processes, allowing for more efficient and organized implementation of change tasks.
Traditionally, a change notice and all its associated change tasks are validated and released, with the pending effectivities applied upon completion. However, new enhancements allow individual change tasks to be released before the entire change notice is complete. This added flexibility enables you to plan, implement, validate, and release change tasks in defined stages, improving overall process efficiency.
Following are the key enhancements:
Enhanced Release Logic
• Provided new change workflows: Change Notice Version 1 Workflow and Change Task Workflow With Release of Change Task Version 1.
• Change tasks can be validated, released, and have pending effectivities applied individually.
Improved Process Tracking
• Added Actual Start Date and Actual Finish Date for better tracking.
• Introduced a new workflow variable optInFinishedAndCancelledFilter to control new release logic.
API and Preferences
• Added ReleaseChangeable 2 API for enhanced functionality.
• New preference for Staged Plan Execution to facilitate staged execution of change notices.
Organized Change Notice Implementation
• Provided additional change process flexibility for the organized change notice implementation.
• Added a predefined list of stages to execute a change notice with a sequence.
