Digital Product Traceability
Digital Product Traceability (DPT) integrates Windchill with various PTC products, such as PTC RV&S, PTC Modeler, Codebeamer, and also with third-party products, such as Siemens Polarion, and IBM Rational Doors NG. To support product integration, DPT uses the ThingWorx Platform and ThingWorx Flow, and follows the Open Service Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) standards. This integration enables the creation of trace links between Windchill traceable objects and external resources, allowing you to view real-time data from these external resources within Windchill.

Windchill marks out-of-the-box parts, documents, options, choices, resources, and standard control characteristics as traceable, enabling the creation of trace links with the requirement management, architecture management, and change management domains of external resources.
