The Traces tab displays trace links between external artifacts, such as requirements and Windchill traceable objects, such as parts, options, choices, documents, resources, and standard control characteristic.

The visibility of this tab in Structure tab of a part is controlled by the Show Traces Tab in Part and Manufacturing Resource Structure preference. When set to Yes, the traces table is visible in the Structure tab. When set to No, the default, Traces tab is hidden in the part Structure tab.
