The import process generates and updates objects in preparation for replication. The system tracks these objects when they are created, updated, or skipped. Following the import process, the replication process transfers all iterations marked for participation on the target system for a specific master.

For example, if there is a version mismatch between objects in the source and target systems, the system may remove these objects, and the links might be adjusted forward or backward to align with valid iterations.
