Updating a Model Item
To update a model item in the Control Characteristics tab:
1. Select the control characteristic record and click 
Update Model Item. The Select Model Item dialog box opens.

 | If the Model Item ID list is left blank, a control characteristic record with no model item is created. |
3. Click OK to update the model item.

The following attributes are present for Manufacturing Operation to Standard Control Characteristic Link and Associative to Standard Control Characteristic Link:
• Model Item Uses Nominal Value
• Model Item Uses Upper Limit
• Model Item Uses Lower Limit
You can customize the table view to display these attributes are displayed in the Control Characteristics tab of the process plan browser. These attributes help you to view nominal, upper limit and lower limit dimensions with units.
