WebGL in MPMLink
Creo View WebGL viewer is the default embedded 3D model viewer technology in Visualization tab for users of Firefox, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. The system no longer requires Creo View installed in order to enable the display of visual representations through these browsers. Creo View WebGL viewer renders 3D graphics only.
For users of Internet Explorer browser, Creo View plug-in is the default embedded 3D model viewer technology.
Prior to WebGL, Edit Representation action in Process Plan Browser was using an embedded Creo View client to open annotations created for operations. From this release, the Process Plan Browser Edit Representation action uses a standalone Creo View instead of an embedded Creo view.
For all Visualization tabs in MPMLink, Incremental Loading is possible only with Creo View WebGL viewer. Incremental Loading is not supported with Creo View Plugin in BOM Transformer, Process Plan Browser, and Manufacturing Resource Browser of MPMLink.
