Replacing a Made From Part
You can replace a Made From part only with another Made From part. Perform the following steps to do so:
1. In BOM Transformer, select one or more Made From parts that you want to replace.
2. From the Editing tool bar action, select Replace Made From.
The Replace Made From window opens.
3. In the Replace Made From window, search for the required Made From part and click OK.
You can select only a single Made From part.
The existing Made From parts are replaced with the selected Made From part.
If the Track “Made From” History Through Change Notice preference is set to Yes, you must specify a valid change notice or change task number in the configuration specification filter. For more information, see Tracking Usage History of Made From Parts.

You can also use the Mass Update Manufacturing Objects action to replace a Made From part. For more information, see Updating Object Associations.
