To view a smart collection in the folder browser page in an upgraded version of the application, you need to add the smart collection object type from the Object Types table to display in this view. You can use the Pick a View menu to select an existing view or to create a customized display for table objects and their attributes. For more information, refer Customizing Table Views and Creating and Editing New Table View.

To view a smart collection in the search results, add the Smart Collection object type to All Applicable Object Types Search preference.
