Insert Component from Windchill (CATIA V5)
The Insert Component from Windchill action is the equivalent of a native CATIA V5 insertion of a part, subassembly, or CGR, from the active Windchill workspace or commonspace, into the CATIA V5 product open in the active session. This action is available by clicking the 
icon on the CATIA V5 toolbar, or by selecting the action from the Windchill menu in CATIA V5.

For example, if you want to insert a component from the commonspace, but its non-latest version already exists in the workspace, then the non-latest version from the workspace is considered for the insert action.
To insert a component with its latest version, update the latest version of a component in the workspace.
