Installing Additional Products or Updates Using the PTC Solution Installer
The PTC Solution Installer can install additional PTC products or updates into an existing Windchill installation. Use the following steps when updating a cluster with additional installations:
1. Install or update additional PTC products on a single cluster node. This cluster node must be configured for a single method server instance.
2. Follow any other manual instructions for the specific product. For more information, see Optional Product Settings.
3. Use the tool you have selected for copying file changes (such as rsync or robocopy) to synchronize the cluster node used for the installation with all other cluster nodes.
4. Perform any manual data loading.
