Removing a Standard Control Characteristic
To remove a standard control characteristic record from the control characteristic tab:
1. Select the standard control characteristic to be removed.
2. Click Remove Standard Control Characteristic. The Remove dialog box opens.
3. Click Ok. The record of the control characteristic is removed.

A standard control characteristic remains in the system when its allocation is removed. However, a control characteristic is permanently deleted when it is deleted from a part or a process plan.
