Managing Anonymous Blocks (AutoCAD)
In AutoCAD, anonymous (or unnamed) blocks are created to support dynamic block features.
To accurately map the dynamic block attributes to Windchill, Windchill Workgroup Manager identifies the true or effective names of anonymous blocks.
Identify the True Names of Anonymous Blocks
The enable.dynamic.block.attributes.propagation preference in the wgmclient.ini file helps you to identify the true or effective names of anonymous blocks before sending the block attributes to Windchill.
If you set enable.dynamic.block.attributes.propagation=Yes, Windchill Workgroup Manager identifies the true or effective names of anonymous blocks.
If you set enable.dynamic.block.attributes.propagation=No, Windchill Workgroup Manager does not identify the true or effective names of anonymous blocks.

If the preference enable.dynamic.block.attributes.propagation is set to No, the dynamic block values may change when you reopen the saved CAD file in AutoCAD from the Windchill workspace.
