We have improved the offline workspace experience in Windchill Workgroup Manager 13.0.2.0. You can work with CAD documents in your workspace even without a server access.
The changes are saved in the offline workspace. Once you are back online, you can check in these changes to the Windchill server.
The new improvements include:
• Switching Modes: Easily switch your workspace between online and offline modes. To go offline, select the server in the Server Management utility and click > .
• Synchronization: Synchronize workspace objects with the server when switching modes.
• Offline Access: Open CAD documents in your CAD application from the offline workspace without a server access.
• Opening Documents: Click Workspace in the Windchill Workgroup Manager navigator pane to select and open CAD documents.
• PDM Actions: PDM actions that require server connection are disabled when offline. This is supported only for SOLIDWORKS.
• Sharing Workspace: Export your workspace to a portable version for sharing or troubleshooting.
