Associating Resources with an Equivalent Part
To associate a resource with an equivalent part:
1. In the Manufacturing Resource Browser, click > > .
2. In the downstream view of the BOM Transformer, click 
> . The Open Part as Downstream BOM dialog box opens.
> . The Open Part as Downstream BOM dialog box opens.3. Use the Open Part as Downstream BOM dialog box to filter your search query, then click Search.
4. Select the object you would like to define as the equivalent of the object selected in the navigation pane, and click OK. The selected object appears in the downstream view of the BOM Transformer.
5. From the middle pane of the BOM Transformer, click 
Create Equivalent Link. The Create Equivalence Link dialog box opens. For more information, see Creating an Equivalent Link.
Create Equivalent Link. The Create Equivalence Link dialog box opens. For more information, see Creating an Equivalent Link.6. Enter a description for this equivalent link and use the Occurrence Link Enabler check box to enable or disable the appearance of equivalent occurrences, then click OK.
The Downstream Equivalent Objects and Upstream Equivalent Objects tables in the Equivalent Parts tabs are updated accordingly.
