Editing a Standard Control Characteristic in the Process Plan Browser
Perform the following steps to edit the standard control characteristic attributes in the Process Plan Browser:
1. Select the standard control characteristic to be edited in the process plan tree structure.
2. Right-click and select Editing > Edit Standard Control Characteristic.
The Edit Standard Control Characteristic dialog box opens. Alternatively, from the Editing section, click Editing > Edit Standard Control Characteristic to open the Edit Standard Control Characteristic dialog box.

The Edit Standard Control Characteristic action is disabled if you select multiple standard control characteristics or if you select a standard control characteristic already checked out by another user.
3. Edit the attribute values as desired.

Click Save to incrementally save new values while leaving the dialog box open to continue editing.
4. Click Check In
The new attribute values are saved, and the standard control characteristic object is checked back into Windchill.

The custom attributes that you create appear in the Edit Standard Control Characteristic dialog box.
