There are two Windchill preferences that need to be set and configured before AutoCAD Electrical is ready to store data in Windchill using the Windchill Workgroup Manager for AutoCAD.

From the Windchill server, navigate to the Preference Management utility. Select Workgroup Manager Client from the list and expand the AutoCAD Electrical category.

Create WTParts for AutoCAD Electrical Files controls the behavior of part creation for AutoCAD Electrical Projects. The default value is ProjectOnly. Select which option you want for this preference.

Enable Working with AutoCAD Electrical will enable the Windchill Workgroup Manager for AutoCAD to work with AutoCAD electrical. The default value is no. This will need to be set to yes.

There are also Windchill Workgroup Manager for AutoCAD settings in the wwgmclient.ini file. These setting control how AutoCAD electrical files will be handled.
