After installing Oracle software, you must install any patches provided by Oracle. To determine the correct patch level to apply and for more information on software compatibility and platform support, see Release Calendar and click on the View matrix page.

If you do not have the appropriate patch on a CD provided by Oracle, you can obtain it through the Oracle technical support website (http://metalink.oracle.com/). After logging in, you can download the patch from the Patches section on the MetaLink site.
